Coral Bay

On a recent trip up north I was lucky enough to drop into Coral Bay. This was my first ever visit here. On some of the most remote areas in Australia and surrounded out in the water by the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef, it is one of Western Australia premier tourist locations, and I certainly saw why. As you can see from the photo the water is a brilliant turquoise colour, and it is filled with a massive abundance of fish of all different species, some of which will swim right up to you. The coral reef is only a very short swim from the beach itself, or you can take one of the snorkelling tours that will take you out further.
Ningaloo Reef is a know location that the magnificent Whale Shark and Manta Ray visit annually.
If you are visiting the North West of Western Australia, mark this place down. A must see.

Lake Argyle

Lake Argyle is Australia’s second largest artificial lake. Its major inflow is the Ord River. It is located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Donnelly River

On a recent trip down through the south-west of Western Australia I passed through Manjimup. On a previous trip through the same area a few years back we visited the Donnelly River but I didn’t have the camera with me. Not forgetting my camera a second time, I managed to fire off a few shots. I also should’ve brought my marron nets.
