Unknown Waters

This is something I haven’t really done much of before. But  it is something I would like to do more of. During my last shoot, the other photographer (Jay Harman) had taken a brilliant shot of the jetty. The shot was too good to pass up, and not wanting to copy his image, I instantly thought of a great opportunity to do some work and add a few textures in.
Any comments on the shot would be great.

Fremantle Boat Harbour

I got up very early this morning, a while before sunrise so I could drive the 45mins to our destination at Fremantle. Tom had long pants a jumper and a beanie, while I had a pair of boardshorts and jumper. I will not be making that mistake again. Another layer of clothing would’ve done me quite fine.
Fremantle or Freo as the natives to WA call it, is a very photogenic area. This weekend has been a weekend of firsts for Tom and I, yesterday we went into the City, and now today in Fremantle.
The early morning rise paid off as we did not have to compete with the Sunday crowds that Freo is known for, especially in the area that we were shooting.
We spent our whole time in the boat harbour.

El Questro

El Questro gorge is situated on El Questro Station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Another place you must visit when you are in the area. Well actually it is that good, I would make a trip up there just to see El Questro Station. The station itself if just under 1,000,000 acres in size, so there is a fair amount to see from Emma Gorge to the Zebedee Thermal Springs and El Questro Gorge.
I hope to return again in the near future and stay at the resort. It truly is gods country out there.
