Colours over Jindalee

Jindalee-Pano

I havent been able to get away for photos of late as I’ve got my wedding coming up. So to get my photography fix, I have been frequently down at my local beach Jindalee.
Last nights sunset was a beauty with the clouds being lit up like fire, just as the sun was setting below the horizon.
The time-lapse came out a beauty as well. Another addition to the ever growing collecting now.

Jindalee Rocks

After spending last weekend in Melbourne to watch the footy, I was very keen to get back out and take some photos down at the beach. There was not a breath of wind in the air, but the swell was up. This made for very calm conditions over the surf break, but in close the whitewater was pretty interesting to work around. I took the shots here low to the ground, and to manage this I had to spread my tripod out and kneel in between sets to frame my shot.

Jindalee Beach III

A few nights ago I revisited my new local beach (I have finally moved into my new place woohooo).
Jindalee is a new coastal suburb located about 40kms north of Perth, Western Australia. We are lucky in Perth as the coastline is incredible, and we get to the chance to experience sunsets like this everyday. It still amazes me that overseas travellers tend to spend most of their time on the east coast of Australia and not venture west to explore this side of the country.

Jindalee Boardwalk

Another photo from my collection from Jindalee Beach. This was taken as I walked back from the beach up the boardwalk. I had to sit back and appreciate the last minutes of daylight.
